47% as HI (nominal density 1.53 grams/cc)

Each concentration is available in two forms:
Unstabilized or Stabilized (with H3PO2)

Main use area are:
Preparation of inorganic iodides (KI, NaI, NH4I, AgI, etc.)
Preparation of organic iodides (iodobenzoic acids or similar compounds for X-ray contrast intermediates, aliphatic iodides, etc.)
Pharmaceuticals of various kinds
Disinfectant and sanitizer formulations
Analytical analysis as in methoxyl determinations
